Moore (4-5) twirled seven scoreless innings, allowing just three hits and two walks while striking out six in Wednesday's 4-0 victory over the Red Sox.
EDGE Analysis
The southpaw held the Red Sox hitless through five innings and escaped a key bases-loaded jam in the sixth while outpitching the Rays' former-ace David Price. Moore had been in a similar situation just five days prior to this one when he took a no-hitter into the fifth before falling apart in the sixth. This time, though, he got out of the jam en route to his fourth win of the year. The 27-year-old has tossed seven scoreless innings in two of his last four starts, and has his ERA down to its lowest point since April at 4.67.
