Moore (2-4) allowed five runs on seven hits and a walk with three strikeouts in a loss Tuesday to the Diamondbacks.
EDGE Analysis
Moore still can't figure out how to keep the ball in the yard. He was touched up for home runs by Jake Lamb and Paul Goldschmidt on Tuesday to raise his total to 14 allowed on the season. Only Max Scherzer (16) has given up more home runs than Moore this season. Moore has never allowed more than 18 home runs in a season, and rediscovering that ability to keep the ball on the ground and out of the seats will be the only way for him to bring his 5.56 ERA down to earth.
