Moncada went 4-for-5 with two walks, a home run, five runs scored and a stolen base in Thursday's win over Detroit.
EDGE Analysis
This was easily the best game of Moncada's career to this point, as he reached base in six of seven trips to the plate and tied Tim Raines' franchise record with the five runs, according to Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times. He raised his average more than 20 points in this one (from .207 to .229). The 22-year-old is still a work in progress when it comes to picking up spin and recognizing offspeed stuff, but he's now hit safely in six straight, flashing the potential that made him the No. 1 overall prospect in baseball.
