MLB.com's Mark Sheldon reports that the Reds returned INF/OF Mark Teahen to the Diamondbacks due to an issue with his physical. Teahen was acquired by the Reds earlier this week for cash considerations or a player to be named later, but the deal has been nixed. The exact issue with the physical isn't yet known. The 31-year-old was hitting .211/.318/.254 through his first 22 games with Triple-A Reno this season.
