MLB Network's Peter Gammons reports that the Red Sox are among the teams that have "checked in" with the Marlins on Giancarlo Stanton. The Rangers and Mets have also inquired about Stanton, but the Marlins have consistently said that they're "not interested." While there's been no indication that a trade will happen this year, it still can't be ruled out. Stanton is going to become expensive when he hits arbitration for the first time this offseason.
