MLB has upheld Manny Machado's five-game suspension and he will begin serving it on Monday night. Machado was issued the five-game punishment for intentionally throwing his bat in the direction of A's third baseman Alberto Callaspo back on June 8. He appealed it this past Friday but with no luck. The 21-year-old will be out until Saturday's game at Fenway Park.
