Miller (knee) was out tossing off the mound with Jason Kipnis prior to Friday's game against the Orioles, Chris Assenheimer of The Chronicle reports.

EDGE Analysis

Miller was able to throw a pair of bullpen sessions earlier this week, and it's expected that the lefty will go up against live hitting in the near future. It appears as though Miller is on the verge of activation, and could return to the bullpen sometime next week, if all goes well.
