Miller (forearm) was activated from the 15-day DL on Wednesday. As expected, Miller was added back to the active roster ahead of Wednesday's game after a month-long recovery from a left forearm injury. Manager Joe Girardi did away with any speculation as to his role upon activation, saying that Miller will indeed slot back into the closer role and push Dellin Betances back to setup duty.
