St. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Miles Mikolas (arm) was transferred to the 60-day injured list on Tuesday. This is mostly a procedural move, as Mikolas was already expected to miss the rest of the season after having surgery to repair the flexor tendon in his throwing arm. With the Cardinals desperate for roster space after their very own COVID-19 breakout, moving Mikolas to the 60-day at least creates one more spot.
