Mike Trout went 3-for-4 with a home run and two runs scored in the Angels' 14-2 win over the Mets on Sunday. Trout started the onslaught with a home run off Bartolo Colon in the first inning. He was hitting .257 heading into the weekend but swatted seven hits in 15 at-bats over the three-game series, raising his average to .320. He's second in the American League in home runs (4) and slugging percentage (.633) through two weeks. Ho hum.
