Los Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout (elbow) will not play on Friday against Houston. The former MVP was nailed by a Cristian Javier slider on Thursday night and was removed from the game prematurely as a result. Luckily, Trout stated that the pitch made contact mostly on his protective elbow pad, so fantasy managers can breathe a sigh of relief. Skipper Joe Maddon expects the slugger back in the lineup on Saturday against the Astros in the third of a four-game series.
