Trout had only drawn a walk in his first four plate appearances, but he took Dellin Betances deep in the ninth after a rain delay. After last year's remarkable rookie season, Trout has followed it up with an amazing sophomore campaign, batting .329/.425/.574 with 21 homers, 76 RBI and 26 steals.
