Mike Trout hit a walk-off three-run homer in the ninth inning to send the Angels to a 6-5 victory over the Rays on Thursday. The Angels' offense scuffled for most of the night, but woke suddenly in the last frame facing a 5-2 deficit. Three straight reached off Tampa Bay closer Grant Balfour, prompting Joe Maddon to summon Brad Boxberger. Trout deposited Boxberger's third offering over the left field wall to complete the frenzied rally. Trout finished 1-for-4. He's slashing .269/.357/.531 with eight homers and 27 RBI.
