Mike Trout had a three-run homer and a two-RBI sac fly in the Angels' 6-5 win over the Mariners on Friday. Less surprising than the fact that Trout was involved in a two-run sac fly is that he wasn't the one who scored from second on the play. It looked like Trout would have his second homer of the night on his long shot to right, but Eric Thames caught it at the wall. Erick Aybar was able to score from second afterwards. Despite leading off exclusively for the Angels, Trout has 65 RBI in 90 games. Cue the MVP chants.
