Mike Stanton has already drawn 10 walks in August after drawing just 11 in 27 July games. Those 11 walks were a career high for any month for Stanton, however. He is still striking out a ton in August (12 times in 31 at-bats), but there's no doubt he's been showing increased patience at the plate, reaching base at a clip of .398 in 26 games since the All-Star break. Just another reason why he is rapidly emerging as one of the game's best keeper options.
