Mike Pelfrey (back) is slated to rejoin the Twins' rotation on Saturday. That's assuming Monday's rehab start goes off without a hitch. Pelfrey, who is recovering from a back strain, posted a 6.11 ERA and 1.63 WHIP before landing on the DL. He seems likely to bump P.J. Walters from the rotation.
