Mike Pelfrey allowed three runs over 5 1/3 innings in taking the loss against the Mariners on Friday. Pelfrey flirted with danger all night, allowing six hits and four walks in his 5 1/3 innings. Add in that he only struck out two batters and it was a recipe for disaster. The right-hander hasn't won since May 5, and he now sports a demonic 6.66 ERA with a 1.77 WHIP through 11 starts. His next start will come Thursday against the Royals.
