Mike Minor turned in a strong outing in Saturday's victory over the Giants, allowing just three runs on four hits over his 6 2/3 innings. He struck out five and walked one. Brandon Belt got the Giants on the board with an RBI groundout in the fifth inning and Gregor Blanco added a two-run double in the seventh. Minor has started to turn his season around in recent weeks, posting four consecutive quality starts and a 2.97 ERA over 30 1/3 innings in August. He'll look to continue that roll when he takes on the Phillies at home on Friday.
