Mike Minor returned to the Braves rotation on Thursday after being skipped last week, and promptly stifled the Marlins, allowing only one run on four hits over five innings. Minor did struggle with his command in the game, leading to five walks while striking out four. He needed 103 pitches to battle through the short outing, but came away with his third win of the season. The lone blemish on his evening was Jose Reyes' solo homer in the fifth inning. Minor will look to further improve upon his inflated 6.57 ERA when he takes on the Yankees at home next week.
