Mike Minor pitched well in a losing effort Monday, holding the Marlins to two runs on six hits while striking out four over seven innings. He didn't walk a batter for the first time since mid-May. Though it's come against struggling offenses, Minor has pitched very well each of his last three times out, allowing a total of five earned runs. He'll try to keep it going this weekend against the Phillies.
