Mike Leake yielded three runs in five innings in Friday's loss to the Cardinals. Leake entered Friday's outing having allowed just one run over his last four starts combined. He actually held the Cardinals in check in this one until he gave up three straight RBI singles with two outs in the bottom of the fourth inning. This was his shortest outing since April 27. Fortunately, he has a more favorable matchup against the Cubs next week.
