Mike Leake turned in a quality performance in a no-decision against the Cubs on Thursday, allowing three runs on six hits over his six innings of work. Leake fanned five and walked two on the evening. Anthony Rizzo got the Cubs on the board with an RBI infield single in the first inning, then Leake was able to shut them down until a two-run double from Starlin Castro in the sixth. He had been in a bit of a funk recently, getting hit hard in three of his last four starts, so it was encouraging to see him get back on track. He'll take a 3-7 record and 4.51 ERA into Wednesday's matchup against the Mets at home.
