Mike Leake turned in a decent performance in Tuesday's victory over the Pirates, allowing three runs on nine hits over his seven innings of work. Leake walked one and struck out three. All of the scoring against him came via the longball, with Alex Presley smashing a solo shot in the first inning and Gaby Sanchez adding a two-run blast in the seventh. Lake will head into Tuesday's start against the Cubs with an 8-9 record, 4.69 ERA and 112/36 K/BB ratio over 167 innings.
