Mike Leake pitched seven scoreless innings and went 3-for-4 at the plate as the Reds beat the Phillies 11-2 on Wednesday. It was a nice change for Leake, who had two mediocre starts his first two times out. The right-hander didn't walk anyone and allowed just three hits to the Phillies, striking out seven. He also did damage with the bat, tripling as part of his three hits. His next start, Monday against the Cubs, looks favorable as well.
