Mike Leake held the Mets scoreless over seven innings in the Reds' 4-0 victory on Tuesday. Leake has now made two consecutive starts without allowing a run, lowering his ERA to 3.25 in the process. There was some thought his spot in the rotation might be in danger with the return of Johnny Cueto, but Tony Cingrani being demoted was a vote of confidence in favor of the 25-year-old. His next start will come in an interleague matchup with the Indians on Monday.
