Mike Leake allowed just one run and three hits in eight innings Wednesday in the Reds' 2-1 win over the Cubs. Nate Schierholtz homered in the second, but Leake shut the Cubs down the rest of the day, striking out six and walking one. It's the fifth time in six starts that Leake has allowed one or no earned runs. At 2.76, he now has the lowest ERA on the Reds staff, overtaking Mat Latos.
