Mike Carp went 1-for-4 and drove home a pair of runs in Saturday's loss to the Yankees. Carp lined a two-run single off Matt Thornton in the seventh inning that pulled the Red Sox to within 6-4, but that would be as close as they'd come. He was also thrown out inexplicably attempting to steal, ending the Red Sox rally in the seventh. While he has considerable power, his fantasy value is limited to AL-only formats unless he starts to receive consistent playing time.
