Mike Carp (shoulder) was scheduled to start in the outfield Friday for the first time on his rehab assignment with Triple-A Tacoma. Carp was originally scheduled to play the outfield for the first time Thursday, but he served as the DH after sleeping on his arm wrong. The 25-year-old is 4-for-27 (.148) over the first seven games of his rehab assignment.
