Mike Aviles was ejected from Thursday's game against the Rays for arguing a called third strike. Aviles went 1-for-4 with a run scored before getting the boot from home plate umpire Dan Bellino in the top of the seventh. It was the first ejection of his career. Nick Punto entered the game to replace him at shortstop.
