Mike Adams was diagnosed Tuesday with fraying in his right labrum and will be shut down 10 days. Adams is going to get a cortisone injection later this week to help with the discomfort that he's feeling. There's no structural damage in his rotator cuff, so the Phillies are staying optimistic. Aadams, who's had a tough recent history with shoulder issues, was sporting a 2.12 ERA and 20 strikeouts through 17 innings this season.
