Mike Adams (thoracic outlet syndrome) is not expected to be available for the first round of the playoffs. Adams visited Dr. Drew Dossett Monday, and he didn't put any limitations on the right-hander, but there remains no timetable for when he'll resume throwing. "We haven't made that call yet," general manager Jon Daniels said. "He's still in the mix, but it will be tough to have him active without seeing him throw." Adams is expected to undergo offseason surgery but is hoping to pitch through the injury during the playoffs.
