Chicago White Sox manager Tony La Russa said he saw "excellent progress" from relief pitcher Michael Kopech's (hamstring) simulated game on Friday. The plan is for Kopech to throw another simulated game on Monday. After that, the White Sox will determine if the right-hander will need to go on a rehab assignment.
