Houston Astros outfielder Michael Brantley (hamstring) has been activated off the injured list and will start Tuesday against the Royals. Brantley is hitting sixth but manager Dusty Baker told reporters that he wanted to get the veteran some at-bats before resuming his usual place in the heart of the order.
