Mets sent SS Omar Quintanilla outright to Triple-A Las Vegas. Quintanilla passed through waivers unclaimed and will head to Triple-A where he'll serve as additional depth for the Mets. He hit just .207/.258/.241 with three RBI in 29 at-bats with the Mets.
