Mets recalled RHP Jacob deGrom from Triple-A Las Vegas. Ranked prior to the season by Baseball America as the team's No. 10 prospect, deGrom boasts a 2.58 ERA and 29/10 K/BB ratio in 38 1/3 innings over seven starts at Triple-A this year. The former ninth-round pick has been used exclusively as a starter in the minors, but the Mets think he can help as a reliever right now.
