Mets re-signed INF Omar Quintanilla to a minor league contract. The 32-year-old who is best known for his glove work hit a paltry .222/.306/.283 with two homers and 21 RBI in 95 games for the Mets in 2013. He was non-tendered in December to clear a spot on the 40-man roster, but will return and provide valuable organizational depth.
