Mets purchased the contract of OF Andrew Brown from Triple-A Las Vegas. Brown, 28, was hitting .367/.440/.622 with two homers, 27 RBI and a 1.062 OPS in 25 games at Triple-A. He could see some starts against left-handed pitching.
