Mets purchased the contract of INF Omar Quintanilla from Triple-A Las Vegas. Quintanilla will likely get regular playing time at shortstop while Ruben Tejada (quad) is on the shelf. The 31-year-old was batting .333/.419/.484 in 47 games for the Las Vegas 51s but he's a .220/.279/.302 career hitter in the majors and can be ignored in fantasy leagues.
