The New York Mets are picking up starting pitcher Carlos Carrasco's $14 million option for the 2023 season, according to general manager Billy Eppler. The Mets need all the starting pitching help they can with Jacob deGrom, Chris Bassitt and Taijuan Walker all hitting free agency this offseason.
