Mets optioned INF Ruben Tejada to Triple-A Buffalo. The move was made before Wednesday's game. Tejada was moved off the roster to make room for Jose Thole's return from the paternity leave list. The 21-year-old is expected to play shortstop everyday on the Triple-A level.
