Mets non-tendered INF Justin Turner. It's a minor surprise, as Turner likely would have made under $1 million in his first year of arbitration. Still, the Mets didn't think he did enough to justify returning. The 28-year-old batted .280/.319/.385 with two homers and 16 RBI over 214 plate appearances this season while making starts at all four infield positions. He shouldn't have any trouble finding an opportunity on the open market.
