Mets manager Terry Collins said Thursday that he'd like Travis d'Arnaud to get 40-50 at-bats at Triple-A Las Vegas before the club considers recalling him. "It's not going to happen in five or six days," Collins said. "I think he needs to be there a couple weeks. He needs to accumulate some at-bats." D'Arnaud has six hits -- including a pair of home runs -- over his first 10 at-bats at Las Vegas, so it appears he's starting to rediscover his stroke at the plate. "It obviously shows you one thing: he's not pouting," Collins said. "He's got something to prove, and he went down there to prove it. And I love that."
