Mets manager Terry Collins said Ruben Tejada won't be allowed to run for at least the next two days due to "point tenderness" in his injured right quad. Obviously, he will not begin a rehab assignment Monday as hoped. If he's able to start running again soon, Tejada shouldn't need more than a couple rehab games before rejoining the Mets. He was batting .305/.362/.400 over his first 117 plate appearances this season before landing on the DL.
