Mets manager Terry Collins said he told Ruben Tejada after Thursday's poor showing, "you're the shortstop here." "I talked to him today about trying to relax a little bit," Collins said. "I said, 'Listen, you're the shortstop here. Your name and your number are going to be in the lineup. Go be the player we know you can be." Tejada is 1-for-15 and has committed three errors in Grapefruit League play, but he remains the club's best internal option at shortstop. However, Tejada's struggles could help convince GM Sandy Alderson to go after Nick Franklin or Stephen Drew.
