Mets manager Terry Collins plans to speak with Jason Bay (concussion) in the next two days to get an assessment on his progress. Collins confirmed there isn't a "set number of at-bats" Bay needs before returning, and the New York Post suggests he could rejoin the Mets in Washington next week. Bay went 0-for-3 with a walk and a strikeout in his latest rehab appearance, not that it matters. Jordany Valdespin will likely be demoted once Bay returns.
