Mets GM Sandy Alderson said he doesn't think it's a bad sign that no agreements have been reached with David Wright and R.A. Dickey at this stage of the offseason. "Not necessarily," Alderson said. "These things take on a life of their own so I'm not surprised. I wouldn't take it as a negative." The New York Post reported Friday that talks are "ongoing" with Wright and Dickey, and Alderson expects to have more clarity on the situation before the start of winter meetings. Wright is believed to be seeking an extension of at least seven years and $120 million.
