Mets general manager Sandy Alderson said Monday that prospect right-hander Jake deGrom will be on standby with Triple-A Las Vegas over the next few days. The Mets are looking at deGrom as another potential addition to their bullpen along with Jenrry Mejia, who has been replaced in the rotation by Rafael Montero. The 25-year-old has a 2.58 ERA and 29/10 K/BB ratio in 38 1/3 innings over seven starts in Triple-A this year.
