Mets general manager Sandy Alderson said Friday that it's realistic Ruben Tejada (quad) could be back within the week. Good news. Tejada has been in New York this week to get treatment on his injured right quad, but this would suggest that he's making progress. Look for him to go out on a brief minor league rehab assignment soon.
