Mets acquired C Travis d'Arnaud from the Blue Jays in the seven-player R.A. Dickey trade. The 23-year-old was considered the Blue Jays' top prospect and should eventually develop into an All-Star backstop in the major leagues. He hit .333/.380/.595 with 16 home runs and 52 RBI in 67 games this summer with Triple-A Las Vegas and shows good athleticism behind the plate. The Mets also got top pitching prospect Noah Syndergaard, big-league catcher John Buck and 18-year-old outfielder Wulimer Becerra from Toronto.
