Mejia has spent the last seven weeks with Triple-A Memphis after earning his first big-league stint toward the end of June. In 10 games with the Cardinals, he went 3-for-14 from the plate during his brief opportunity. Mejia likely won't see much more action this time around, but should provide added infield depth for St. Louis moving forward.
